POPCORN AS A BENEFICIAL SNACK: 3 REASONS TO EAT IT!

There are multiple benefits to eating and including popcorn into your everyday diet.  For those who are always hungry and always need to snack but want to do so with no guilt can look to popcorn for help!  There are many ways to please those snack cravings without all the extra baggage that comes with unnecessary snacking.  

These are just some of the ways popcorn help and why it is simply THE best and easiest food to eat and enjoy.  

1. The perfect little popped kernel packs a punch when it comes to protein content.  After a perfect workout or jog head straight for the popcorn to replenish and bring those protein levels back to normal.  I’m not saying to ditch all those other protein rich foods I’m just saying you now have a brand new option when thinking protein!

2. Looking to lose weight?  Look passed the chips and pop a cup of popcorn to enjoy a snack of only 31 calories! Popcorn is literally your best buddy when your goal is total weight loss.  Keep in mind that popcorn has no added salt, sugar or artificial flavors added so there is basically no limit on how much you can eat. Actually you should consider saving some for later.  Everything in moderation folks!

3. Boring popcorn.  Okay, that is not true one bit.  Popcorn is probably the most fun you can have with a snack.  Add healthy delicious flavors to every new bowl.  Add a splash of olive oil or cinnamon to make your popcorn taste like heaven.  The never boring always fun treat is the perfect snack candidate for having an amazingly fun night in with a movie or for a late night snack at your wedding.  That’s how the popcorn pops!
